1. Provide animal images

Before we enter the production time for animal puppets, please provide us with clear pictures or sketches of the animals! We will create detailed construction drawings for the animal designs and develop a production plan. The final appearance of the animals will also be based on the images or sketches you provide.

The importance of providing an image:

• The final presentation effect of the animal hand puppet has been determined.
• All construction plans and production steps must be customized according to the drawings / images; without construction drawings / images, work cannot begin.

2. Inform the size

After providing the image of the animal, we need to inform them of its size. Our construction workers need to determine the size of the internal mechanical structure based on the dimensions. We also need to quote a price based on the size.

The final size of the animal hand puppet is also presented according to the customer’s needs. We create items that are perfectly tailored to the size the customer requires.

The importance of infroming an size:

• Only by determining the dimensions, the construction period can be calculated.
• The workers will strictly complete the products within the construction period.

3. Step into production

Once we know its animal type and size, we can enter the production phase! Usually, our engineers will draw “construction diagrams of the animal’s front and side views”, and then work with three teams of production workers to create the animal puppets one by one.

The puppet production process:

• Make construction drawings
• Create an internal manual mechanical framework
• Wrap the sponge around the outside of the mechanical frame
• Carve animal type or pattern (outline) on the sponge by handworks
• Apply artificial fur or silicone skin on well-shaped animals
• Paint lifelike fur color or skin colors

Production period:

• Typically, animal puppet around 0.5-1 meter in size may take 14-20 days to customize.
• The production time for larger animal hand puppets usually does not exceed 20-22 days.

Note: Before we enter the production, we usually receive a 50% deposit from the customer.

4. Get lifelike animal puppet

Once the production is complete, customers can get the animal props or hand puppets they want! Any animal (lion, tiger, elephant, dog, cat, etc.) can become a prop in the customer’s hands! All we need is for the customer to specify the design, size, and budget. Our efficiency and the realism of the animals we create are both excellent.

Verify the hand puppet before shipping:

• The client needs the production team to provide images of the finished hand puppets (from various angles) to get the first round of approval for the design.
• Let the manufacturer shoot a video of manipulating the hand puppets, just 1-2 minutes of continuous operation is enough; this is the final verification of the manipulation.

Note: We usually recommend sending hand puppets by air. Because they are small in size, even shipping by air doesn’t cost much, and it’s fast.
