Recently, I was in communication with a client from Hungary. He asked questions about holding a dinosaur exhibition (with an area of approximately 500 to 1,000 square meters), such as how large the power output equipment needed to be. And my answer is also a rough estimate, that is, a normal and ordinary household power supply configuration will do.

Think it over carefully, and you’ll find that this answer is still a bit conceptual and not detailed enough. Therefore, I would like to elaborate here on what kind of power configuration is required for holding a dinosaur exhibition of about 1,000 square meters.

You should know that all the interior parts of our animatronic dinosaurs are equipped with windshield wiper motors. The smaller windshield wiper motor typically has a power of 50W, while the larger one has a power of 250W. And an 5 meters long dinosaur model is equipped with 5 to 6 motors of different power levels inside. Therefore, when setting up the power supply equipment for the exhibition site, it is necessary to know how many dinosaur models will be placed inside.

Once the dinosaurs number and size have been confirmed, power equipment needs to be set up at the site. Or, go to the site to check whether the local power configuration is appropriate (in most cases, the on-site power system can be reused).

After all the equipment (animatronic dinosaurs + electrical systems) is in place, do personnel who understand electricity need to be involved in the management? Our answer is: “If such a person exists, then he or she must be the best.” With an exhibition area of around 1,000 square meters, even someone who knows about electricity can handle it perfectly.

Once there is a problem with the movements or sounds of the dinosaurs, the electrical experts can immediately identify the issue – whether it’s a problem with the current output or with the dinosaurs themselves. This can effectively improve work efficiency, allowing for targeted solutions to be implemented later.

What if there are no personnel who understand electrical work?

Conclusion

If you think the above professional parameters are too complicated, you can simply use a small-scale power configuration system for a single floor of a shopping mall in your exhibition venue. All you need to do is ask the local power supply department or a professional electrician, and you will know the configuration situation. For a dinosaur exhibition of around 1,000 square meters, it is more than sufficient. If your exhibition area is larger, you can refer to the power system of a slightly larger amusement park or theme park for configuration.
